In the summer of 2017, a research trip was conducted in order to document and analyze both sacred spaces and actions. Sufi meditation circles were attended and photographed in Turkey.
All photos were shot on analogue film and developed in the dark room. The cameras shot with were a Voigtlander Bessa R4M, and a Canon X-700. Methods of long exposure were used to create a temporal effect on the photo, and to render the meditators faceless in the capture.
